I replaced the stock pickups on my 2005 American Jazz Bass (not the Deluxe) with these. Eu substituiu o estoque captadores no meu 2005 American Jazz Bass (não o Deluxe) com estes. The output seems about the same, but the sound is clearer, more solid, tigher and fuller in the bass, and less present in the treble. The original pickups had more sound options, and were brighter, but these sound better to me than any of the myriad sounds the originals had.
