The Fender Starcaster Acoustic has one minor design flaw. The battery connector. I figured out a way to make the pre amp work, though. Via a small investment from radio shack, I wired a nine volt snap on connector to pre-amp and ran it out to the top of the guitar. Guess what? Now, I have a great sounding Fender guitar at an affordable price, and that makes me feel pretty groovy!!! - Kevin Ronkko
