Well, it has seeds in it that sound like the ocean; there is a beautiful picture of fish
on the drum head and it’s just a really nice drum with a beater.

Remo Set of 6 Pretuned Hand Drums Review
This Remo Set of 6 Pretuned Hand Drums is a great investment. To buy each on separately would have cost quite a bit more. They are well-made and sound wonderful. I use them for my 6th grade class along with some leather hand drums (which often lose their tone due to dampness and cold weather).

This drum is great. It is very well made and has a nice strong sound. My 2 year old daughter and her 3 year old cousin love to play with it. It is fun for adults too. We went ahead and ordered extra set of drum mallets so few people can play on it at once.

Remo Kids Percussion, Floor Tom, 10 Diameter with Mallet, Rain Forest Fabric Review
Tons of reviews have been written about this drum and having read them much helped me buy it. The sound is indeed pleasant, is indeed a drum-like sound, although I haven’t heard many other kids drums, apart from one or two made in Soviet Union, when I was a kid, about 25 or so years ago. My 22 month-old son enjoys playing it, although he doesn’t really remember to take it himself, unless I bring it to him. As stated in some of the previous revies, he tends to sit and stand on it, which, I suppose, will damage the product sooner or later so we try not to let him do it. Special thanks to my friend who brought it to us in Russia all the way from Virginia.

Fun, well-made, great for 2 y.o. and up - T. Smith - MD
Got this because my one year old loved it at Gymboree. He received it for Christmas. It’s made well although the border at the top isn’t completely flush to the drum and I scratched myself on the end of it. A piece of electrical or heavy duty tape on the end of the trim should protect your little one from scratching himself.

This is a wonderful gift for a child. I purchased it for a one and half year old and he plays it a lot. It came with two mallets and if you purchase one be sure it has two mallets. I have taught drumming for over thirty years and the quality, size and sound are fine for a child.

Gathering Drum Review
I submitted a picture showing the 7 x 21 and the 8×8 size drums.
They give good sound. There are not a toy although they may look like toys. Large surface allows for different sounds in striking. Small drum may look small but it delivers loud sound also. Sticks or mallets or hands can be used. Can build up coordination. Each drum comes with 2 mallets felt tip , very soft. 8 inches long mallets.
To sum it up this type drums are good in every way to me.
Have fun. Great for children.
Drum sounds do cause people to gather. You will see.

Great long lasting Drum - Lisa Freimuth -
I bought my son this drum for Christmas because it is the same drum use in his music class! After seeing the age and number of children that play with it each day I knew it would be a long lasting drum!
Everyone loves this drum - Mar -
The baby at 8 months was a little afraid at first, but it didn’t take long for her to warm up to it, once she saw us drumming and saw people on her cartoons drumming. It took a little while longer to learn how to use anything but her hands to beat the drum. Company always plays with the drum, also–adults and children. And best of all (the reason I chose this drum) its a low pitch, so it doesn’t drive you crazy when people beat on it. It can get loud however, but just put enthusiastic drummers in another room if you can’t hear yourself talk.

Bought this drum a couple weeks ago and it has been fantastic. My only regret was not having the video camera rolling when my two year old son started pounding on it with the mallets. The look on his face was priceless. It’s very well constructed, he’s sat on it a few times with no issues, and the big, booming sound can’t be beat.
