we had purchased other drums that broke easily. so i ordered these for our 2 year old and 4 year old. they love them and they are the perfect size. they are also built out of real wood. we got instructions but they looked like they had been copied too many times. my husband went to their website and printed them up in color and it was much easier to put together. took him about an hour to put together. there are small parts so make sure to grab a bowl to throw them in when you open your package.

We purchased this drum set for our 3 year old wannabe Rock Star. He LOVES it…and Mommy and Daddy LOVE the quality of it! He has hours of fun “rocking out” on it with his microphone pulled up next to him so he can sing and drum at the same time. This set is deff better quality then the 1st Act stuff we saw at Toys R Us. We are glad we held out and found this set on Amazon. I think he will enjoy this set for a LONG time!

I gave this to my son on his second birthday and he absolutely loved it. I am quite surprised at the high level of quality of this product for the price. It is true what you’ve read, directions that ship with the box are a joke, the text refers to pictures which you can’t make out because they look like a 9th generation photo copy. But as long as you are not expecting your kid to put it together it doesn’t take more than a couple minutes to figure out what goes where. It appears quite well made and even though my son is well below the age recommendation it looks like it is going to hold up for some time. He sits on that chair for hours happily playing away, sometimes he likes me to play one drum while he plays the other.
If you are at all considering purchasing a children’s drum set, this is what you want.

well when i bought this set i was excited not only for me but for my 3yr old. but i found out that the snare and tom tom drum don’t stay stable. they move after awhile of play and we’re talking about a 3 yr old so he’s really beating it thinking he’s play well. the bass drum padel does not stay in place and ended up having to fix it because if fell apart. but i can say my son really likes to play but it’s alot of work to maintain it for play…

These are really the only way to go when purchasing a very reasonably priced kids’ drum set. That being said, you should be aware that the connections between the drums are of poor design and construction. We had the hardest time mounting the drums together, because the drum mounting design simply does not work. I had to get out a screwdriver and pliers to bend the cheap stamped metal enough so things would fit, and they are continually coming undone because they are so shoddy.

DeRosa Bridgecraft Child/Kid’s Drum Set - DRM 316 -BLUE (available in 4 colors!) Review

I purchased this Bridgecraft Drum Set in Silver Sparkle for my 2-year-old son for Christmas. I work for one of the largest musical instrument manufacturing companies in the world and wasn’t sure what to expect when ordering such an inexpensive drum kit. I was a bit concerned when the kit arrived in just one seemingly small cardboard box; however, this little drum kit ROCKS! The finish looks fantastic, the hardware (except for the kick drum pedal) was decent quality, the assembly was easy, and I was actually able to tune them up! Downsides: The kick drum pedal is a bit dodgy (not the same quality as the rest if the drums) and there was some minor rust on some of the hardware (cleaned up nicely with some WD40).

I bought this drum set for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas 2009. This was a wonderful purchase. This is the one toy that I can say she truly plays with everyday and her daddy too. It is very realistic, has wonderful sound quality, and good stablity. At first, I was looking at a less expensive set at Toys R Us, but am very glad that my husband suggested this set for a few dollars more. We are all very pleased with the drum and would recommend this to any family with children that love music. Also has easy assembly, my husband was able to assemble the set without any instructions, and it was put together correctly.

We bought this for our six year old daughter and are TOTALLY THRILLED: this is a real drum set, not a chintzy toy! It has a great sound. Assembly was easy with the instructions emailed by Austin Bazaar. Well worth every penny — for the quality and sound, I’d expect this to cost twice as much.

we had purchased other drums that broke easily. so i ordered these for our 2 year old and 4 year old. they love them and they are the perfect size. they are also built out of real wood. we got instructions but they looked like they had been copied too many times. my husband went to their website and printed them up in color and it was much easier to put together. took him about an hour to put together. there are small parts so make sure to grab a bowl to throw them in when you open your package.

We purchased this drum set for our 3 year old wannabe Rock Star. He LOVES it…and Mommy and Daddy LOVE the quality of it! He has hours of fun “rocking out” on it with his microphone pulled up next to him so he can sing and drum at the same time. This set is deff better quality then the 1st Act stuff we saw at Toys R Us. We are glad we held out and found this set on Amazon. I think he will enjoy this set for a LONG time!

I purchased this Bridgecraft Drum Set in Silver Sparkle for my 2-year-old son for Christmas. I work for one of the largest musical instrument manufacturing companies in the world and wasn’t sure what to expect when ordering such an inexpensive drum kit. I was a bit concerned when the kit arrived in just one seemingly small cardboard box; however, this little drum kit ROCKS! The finish looks fantastic, the hardware (except for the kick drum pedal) was decent quality, the assembly was easy, and I was actually able to tune them up! Downsides: The kick drum pedal is a bit dodgy (not the same quality as the rest if the drums) and there was some minor rust on some of the hardware (cleaned up nicely with some WD40).
