Two weeks ago Gary Joy decided to go bass fishing on Lake Balboa for the first time this year. He was not disappointed. His first bite of the day resulted in the biggest bass of his life. On a Carolina rigged green pumpkin Zoom lizard, Joy landed an 8-pound, 11-ounce, 24 -inch largemouth bass.
