DW Drums Eco-X 22-Inch Drum Shell Pack, Natural Bamboo Review
I just recently purchased this awesome kit from Amazon and may I say it was the best drums I have ever heard. Coming from an electronic, Roland V-Drums for many year, I shined away from acoustic drums mainly of the difficulty in making these acoustic things sound decent. I was blown away with my first DW experience. This is by far the best sounding drums I have ever heard, even out of tune. I got these last week and fell in love. No wonder virtually all well-known artists are switching to DW.
The Sound:
Love the kick drum sound. It is dry, fat, you can feel it in your chest, stomach and every where. The toms are just rounded, warm with superb sound. I tried them all from high ends Yamaha, Pearl, Tampa etc… the sounds from those drums are literally like you are hitting the trash can. Again coming from an electronic drums, I am very critical of the sounds and let me tell you that DW is just God of drums. I can’t imagine how these drums would sound when properly EQ and mic. I am a true believer in DW and have switched to DW for life.
Comparison:
To compare DW with others, I would say it is like driving a ferrari vs. a Ford Pinto. Another way to think about these drums is like playing with Apple MacBook Pro (unibody late 2009 model) vs. a high end Windows PC 
If you are thinking about getting these drums, run and buy them. I promise you will love love DW. Got to love Amazon to offer such a fantastic product.

GP Percussion GP50MPR Complete Junior Drum Set (Purple, 3-Piece Set) Review
We bought this set in Green for our boys for Christmas and are absolutely thrilled! The boys love it!! And although the assembly instructions were a little on the vague side, my husband was able to put it together relatively easily in about a half an hour. We purchased this mainly for our 3 year old - who has been interested in drums ever since he started watching The Fresh Beat Band - but our 9 year old also gets use out of it. Honestly, even my husband uses it! It’s perfectly sized for our 3 year old. And even though we knew it would be on the small side for our older boy (age recommendations are 3-8), he’s still able to have a lot of fun with it and doesn’t have much of a problem sitting at it. It’s a great set to learn on and sounds authentic!! EXCELLENT quality for the price!

We bought these drums for our 3 1/2 year old. What a great set of drums. These are the real deal. Not a cheap toy set. You can’t beat these for the price. I wasn’t sure what we would get for that price. We are very happy with it. As far as assembly goes, take your time. READ the instructions and go slow. Lay out the parts and take your time. Not a problem. Make sure your tighten the hardware well. it will come loose from beating on the drums. The only negative I can see is getting replacement parts for the set. Our son ripped the snare head and now I am searching for a new one. You can’t go wrong with this kit.

For the price of 0, this seemed look a good buy. The quality is good, and for my 5 year old, it is a good place to start. It is not as big as other drum sets (which are also more expensive), but for a 5-year old this is sufficient.
The worst part is that the instructions that came with it are the worst I have ever seen. I had no experience with drum sets, and could not figure out anything out from the enclosed instructions. I had to go on the internet to find general instructions on assembling drum sets and also had 2 friends come help me, and we were able to assemble it. Other than that we are satisfied with the purchase.

I was searching for a “real” pee wee drumset for my daughter, not a cheap toy. I am a drummer myself so my standards are high. No, it’s not as good as a regular full size DW set, but for the price, I am very impressed. The heads are tuneable, construction is pretty decent actually. I had to put a pillow in the bass shell to dampen and would like to find some tiny remo rings for the tom and snare, but other than that it was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size for my 5 year old and even the little sticks are cute! Others compained about the instructions and yes, they were pretty bad. But being a drummer anyway, I knew how to put it together. Find a drummer to help you if you cannot understand the directions.

GP50 Junior Child Complete Drum Set - Metallic Midnite Blue (For 3 to 8 yrs) Review
When my oldest son was 5 (14 years ago) I purchased a drum set for him from a music store. I paid about 0 back then and it fell apart within a week. I was very disappointed with the quality and sound of that kit. Now that I wanted to buy a set for my 4 year old, I was very careful in selecting a “real” drum set that he can enjoy for years and grow into. The GP50 is definitely it!
This is the real deal and not a toy. Sound is excellent and the build quality is great. At under 0, this set is a bargain. Some have mentioned it is time consuming to build, but I found it rather easy and had it together in no time.
My only complaint is the bass pedal squeak. It was so bad it, it was almost louder than the drums. I had to add a washer between where the bolt and the bracket meet and do a little tweaking by loosening and tightening the nuts until the squeak stopped. The pedal was already pre assembled, but I feel they should have added a bushing to prevent the squeak.
I am still very happy with this set (and so is my 4 year old). Perhaps the pedal problem was just with the one I received. It may or may not always be a problem, but it is easy to fix.

I will give outstanding marks for all from the time I ordered the set all the way to the time it arrived in my city. However, the marks were not outstanding from the distribution point in the city to my house. I had to track it down and then found out it was delivered to another house and left on their porch. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this snare. I’ve been playing on it for about four years and it never fails to give me that crisp pop I’m really looking for in a quality snare. I’ve been drumming for 13 years with numerous live acts and I wouldn’t think of changing out my snare for another one! This is a great piece of equipment and can usually be found on sale for around 0 if you look hard enough, that’s how much I got mine at. Fantastic buy! Gotta love Pearl!
