Warwick Corvette Taranis 5-String Bass, Black In Celtic mythology Taranis was the God of Thunder who was worshipped in Gaul and Britain. Taranis is also the name of a thunderous Warwick bass that is worshipped by bassists who want a powerful tone and a dramatic presence. For many years players from all over the world would order custom 5-string Warwicks that were tuned (from low to high) B, E, A, D and G. The Taranis 5-string comes standard with that same tuning. The passive MEC MM and SC pickups deliver a gutteral tone that is both in your face and present in the mix. This beast is not delicate at all.The swamp ash body is lightly sandblasted to remove the softest parts of the wood. This process creates a killer texture and appearance that highlights the grain. You have to see it in person to appreciate the visual impact of this unique Warwick finish.

Gibson Acoustic John Lennon J-160E Peace Acoustic-Electric Guitar The Gibson John Lennon J-160E Peace Acoustic-Electric Guitar is replica of Lennon's 1962 J-160E, which he used extensively in films and recordings. The reissue features an antique natural finish, laminated spruce top, ladder-top bracing, a P-90 pickup, authentic wood body binding, and a signature truss rod cover. It perfectly re-creates Lennon's Gibson axe as it appeared during 1969's Bed-In after stripping off the psychedelic paint job he commissioned in 1967. It's historically accurate right down to the strap based on the one John used. The original Gibson guitar is now displayed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and this re-creation is offered as a limited, numbered edition of 750, each with a Certificate of Authenticity from Gibson.
